Homemade Envelope with Template - Card-making

Came across this page with this template while I was searching for recycling ideas. And this one is worth taking down.

I totally feel the author right there. I, too, made cards using the scraps around office and home. But just why am I pumping money into the envelopes when I have more than enough paper lying around me to be made into envelopes?

I print the template on a sheet of A4 recycle paper, on the printed sheet and leaving the overleaf blank and white. Of course you can use any types of paper - be it plain or magazine, because you can always paste a small plain paper for the address if the paper's design is too fanciful~

I print the template on paper printed on one side, and I print it on the printed side to leave the other blank. After making quite a number of it, I started realizing I'm kinda wasting ink. So I would keep a cut-out template, to use it to trace on with a pencil.

Cut out scraps of paper from secured envelopes or magazine or any paper to cover up the possible exposed area.

Haha. And to maximize recycling, I also use the blank side of the scraps to practise my handwriting.

Okay, so the rest is just gluing up. Glue the scraps to cover up the exposed area of the envelopes.

Fold up the flaps of the envelopes.

Glue them up and you're all done!

Absolutely easy to make. But if you don't have the time or the resources to make them, you can always visit here! Because I'm giving them out for freeeeeeee! (Or you can pay for the postage if you want them mailed to you~)
